Vancity is a financial co‑operative with over 500,000 member-owners. It doesn't invest in oil, gas or coal and has been carbon neutral since 2008. The enviro Visa card donates at least 5% of profits to local environmental projects. Planet-Wise loans are for home energy efficiency improvements and low emission transport options. 30% of net profits go to members and communities.

The GABV is considered the goald standard for values based banks.
