Metro Bank

Metro Bank has made a pledge not to fund the extraction of fossil fuels or their use for power generation. We have confirmed that the bank is sticking to this pledge.

It has disclosed its financed emissions (emissions enabled by its lending) in line with the best available guidance.

We would like to see Metro start making a greater contribution to the clean energy transition - by financing renewable energy projects and developing green products that reward customers for engaging in climate-friendly practices.
