The Co-operative Bank is the only high-street bank in the UK with a customer-led ethical policy. They offer an array of banking services to suit all needs and lives by their values by providing substantial financial support to environmental causes such as renewable energy or biodiversity protection. They also provide a number of green products to help existing mortgage customers make their homes more energy efficient. Where we would like to see them improve most is in their digital offering, with their mobile app and online banking experience a little behind some of their high-street competitors.
Bank.Green was founded on the belief that banks have had an easy time from their customers for too long.
The co-operative values on which we built the bank over 145 years ago still stand today. They are more than the foundations of the bank, they are what connect us together - colleagues, customers, the businesses we bank, charities we support and the issues we stand for.
