Sutton Bank
Sorry, we don't know enough about Sutton Bank yet.
Sutton Bank has not disclosed sufficient information to allow us to conclude whether it has lending to fossil fuel companies. However, given that its commercial lending was only $103 million at the end of September 2024, we consider such risk to be very low.
We would like to see Sutton Bank put in place a policy stating that it will never lend to companies engaged in the fossil fuel sector.
We would also like to see the bank support renewable energy projects and start offering "green" products such as loans to purchase electric vehicles.
