Laboral Kutxa is owned by Mondragon Corporation. Mondragon has not been has not been transparent about its lending, so it is possible it finances fossil fuels. However, as most of its commercial lending is to small businesses, this is unlikely.

We'd like to see Mondragon put in place a policy stating it will not lend to fossil fuel companies. We would also like to encourage it to start lending to renewable energy companies and to introduce "green" products for retail (individual) customers. It should also disclose the greenhouse gas emissions enabled by its lending and set science-based targets.
