Market Harborough Building Society does not have commercial lending, so it is not funding fossil fuel companies. We'd like to see Market Harborough offer "green" products, such as loans for energy efficiency home improvements.
We'd also like to see Market Harborough measure its greenhouse gas emissions (including emissions enabled by its lending) and set targets to reduce such emissions.
Our mission is to encourage as many people as possible to take a stand - to refuse to let their money fuel environmental destruction any longer. Considering who you bank with, we think you probably agree. This is your chance to spread the word with us.
