Leek Building Society provides mortgages to individuals and is not engaged in commercial lending. It is great to see that the Building Society has developed a green mortgage product.
We would like to see it measure its greenhouse gas emissions and put in place a policy stating that it will never provide commercial mortgages to companies engaged in the fossil fuel sector.
