IMB's commercial lending is aimed at small and medium-sized business, so it's unlikely it has exposure to the fossil fuel industry.
However, we would like to see the bank put in place an explicit policy stating that it will not lend to fossil fuel companies.
Otherwise, IMB is making progress towards sustainability.
It has set some targets, although they miss out the biggest source of emissions (the bank's lending).
It is offering a green product - loan to purchase solar panels.
