Enterprise Bancorp
Your bank has room for improvement on climate responsibility.
Enterprise Bank is a publicly traded bank headquartered in Lowell, Massachusetts.
The bank has not disclosed sufficient information on its lending activities, so we cannot rule that it lends to fossil fuel companies. However, as almost all of its lending is to small and medium-sized companies, we think the likelihood is small.
We would like to see the bank put in place a policy stating it will not lend to the fossil fuel sector. We would also like it to measure the greenhouse gas impact of its lending, set science-based climate targets and start funding renewable energy projects.

Bank.Green believes that mass movements will pull us out of the climate crisis – and they’ll pull your bank out, too.
We were founded on the belief that banks have had an easy time from their customers for too long. Our mission is to encourage as many people as possible to take a stand - to refuse to let their money fuel environmental destruction any longer. Join us in building this movement by pressuring your bank to do better, or by taking your money to somewhere that cares about our planet's future.
