The bank has not disclosed if it lends to the fossil fuel sector, although we think the probability is low as commercial lending only accounted for only 5.5% of total lending at the end of June 2024.
We would encourage the bank to put in place a policy stating it will not provide support for the fossil fuel industry, measure its greenhouse gas emissions and start offering green products.
