How Bank.Green rates institutions

Your bank is climate responsible.
Banco BPM has a substantial amount of fossil fuel lending (~11% of total portfolio), although it funds more renewable energy projects. It has measured emissions enabled by its lending and set science-based targets for reducing them. It offers green mortgages.
We'd like to see the bank expand its exclusion policy beyond coal and state it will not provide new financing to ANY fossil fuel projects and companies. We'd like to see it increase its lending to renewable energy projects and not just invest in green bonds.
Our mission is to encourage as many people as possible to take a stand - to refuse to let their money fuel environmental destruction any longer. Considering who you bank with, we think you probably agree. This is your chance to spread the word with us.
